  2. Mag-fill-out ng Customer Information Sheet (CIS).
  3. Ipakita ang 2 Valid na Government I.D.’s at magpa-face capture sa Branch Personnel para sa pagproseso ng pagbukas ng account.
  4. Makakatanggap ka ng 2 SMS ukol sa iyong bagong Account Number at temporary PIN.

  • 1. What is Cebuana Savings?
    • It is an interest-bearing savings account product owned by Cebuana Lhuillier Rural Bank. It is a regular savings type of account that has no maximum limit in outstanding balance and can be accessed via 24K Quick Card or 24K UnionPay Debit Card.
  • 2. Who are qualified to apply for a Cebuana Savings?
    • All Micro Savings Account holders who have exceeded the maximum outstanding balance shall be automatically upgraded to Cebuana Savings Account.
    • Micro Savings Account holders who are expected to exceed the MSA outstanding balance may voluntarily upgrade their account to Cebuana Savings.
  • 3. What are the requirements?
    • Requirements are as follows:
      1. Active 24K Quick Card or 24K UnionPay Debit Card
      2. Accomplished Client Information Sheet (CIS)
      3. 1 valid ID
      4. Face Image of the client (Captured within branch premise)
      5. Accomplished Remittance Payment Form – doesn’t need to accomplish an RPF if no deposit
      6. No Initial Deposit

    • No. Upgrade is free of charge.
  • 6. Will my account number be changed?
    • Yes. You will receive a message from CEBUANABANK SMS ID containing your new account number
  • 7. Will my card change when my account is upgraded to Cebuana Savings?
    • No, the upgraded account will be linked to the existing card (24K Quick Card or 24K UnionPay Debit Card)
  • 8. How long should I wait for my card to be activated?
    • Card activation takes 24 to 48 hrs.
  • 9. What is the minimum and maximum amount of deposit?
      Minimum Amount: PhP50.00
      Maximum Amount: No maximum limit.
  • 10. What is the allowed minimum and maximum amount of withdrawal?

  • 13. What if I fall below the required maintaining balance?
    • There is a Php 200.00 fee per month if you will fall below the required maintaining balance.
  • 14. How much are the transaction fees?

    • Currently Php 0 for Deposit and Withdrawal(Announcement will be sent 60 days prior to implementation of such fees)

  • 16. What is the required Average Daily Balance (ADB) to earn interest?

  • 17. What is Dormancy fee?
    • It is a fee charged to the account with no activity or without client-initiated transactions performed in the last two (2) years. Charging of such fee is on a per month basis.
  • 18. How much is the dormancy fee?
    • Php 30.00 per month after two (2) years without client-initiated transaction.
  • 19. Can I down grade my Cebuana Savings account?
    • No.
  • 20. What happens after the Upgrade?
    • You will receive two (2) SMS notifications from CEBUANABANK SMS ID containing your New Account Number, Outstanding Balance, and Instruction to Activate Your Card.
  • 21. What should I do with the temporary PIN?
    • Immediately change it and assign new PIN
  • 22. What is SMS Syntax?
    • SMS Syntax is a self-service facility for account holders to send requests related to Micro Savings Account or 24K Quick Card and 24K UnionPay Debit Card.
  • 23. What are the conditions of the SMS Syntax Services?
    • Each SMS request has a maximum limit of three (3) requests per month.
    • To avail the SMS Self-service Facility, client should use his/her registered mobile number in the system.
    • In case the mobile number is not updated, client may file a bank request for Account Maintenance in the branch for updating of mobile number in the system. Please DO NOT process update of mobile number as PIN Reset.
  • 24. What are the requests available in the SMS Syntax Service?
    • Type of request:
